The science fiction and fantasy community is important to me, which is why I nominate and vote for my favorite new stories as a member of the World Science Fiction Convention (“WorldCon”). The Hugo Awards, first presented in 1953, are science fiction’s most prestigious award, and are truly an award of the people. You can vote too.
